This colorful cardigan is a combination of both fair isle and full fashioning techniques. The "filigree" overlaying the changes in colors is in a beautiful earth gold in a Turkish pattern from Hats On! by Charlene Schurch. The set in sleeves add a more formal fit to the sweater and the ornamental buttons bring just a bit of zing to an otherwise traditional look.
