After having a pullover made for her husband, our friend and fellow alpaca breeder, Lynn Denning-Costner, decided she wanted a garment for herself out of yarn from their multiple Color Champion herdsire, Sunny Mesa's Taos. This vest was designed especially for her, utlizing a knit flora pattern at the bottom to reflect her love of gardening, a slip stitch body to simulate a woven cloth, and whimsical oversized suns as buttons to mirror her business motif.

The flora edge was adapted from the creative Nicky Epstein's "Knitting on the Edge".
