There's nothing better than a basic black sweater. This one was knit in a simple repeating chevron in beautiful natural black alpaca for our fellow breeder, Barb Adams of Windstar Alpacas.  The yarn comes from the second shear of their true black dam, Queen of Sheba. The ribbing is a basic garter stitch that frames the pattern wonderfully and the buttons
are carved black horn toggles that mirror the repeating V's knit into the cardigan.
