Our first animal purchased was a wonderful Legacy daughter and Caligula granddaughter, Xanadu P. Coloratura. This sweater was knit from her weanling shear. The fiber was processed at  a mini mill into a soft sport weight 3 ply yarn in a goes-with-anything neutral beige. The waste was returned as roving, which I handspun into a matching yarn that was navajo-plyed and dyed with indigo to create the blue color block. The skein was also entered into the 2005 ABR Fall Fest and took 1st place in the handspun category!
