Trueheart Alpacas quietly runs a carefully thought-out breeding program starting with a superb foundation herd concentrating on the colors of white, light, and black. "Small but Select" is our guideline.  Each of our breeding females is carefully chosen for correct conformation , superior fiber characteristics, and genetic background.  They are matched individually to the finest herdsires from bloodlines with proven prepotency.  As a small breeder, we strive to be at the forefront in developing the next generation of the American alpaca by not settling for anything less than forceful strides forward in improving each generation. We breed high quality alpacas with characteristics that support the long term goal of a viable commercial alpaca industry in the United States.
